One Year Anniversaray
Mood:  blue

Today marks the one year anniversary of Dad's death.  I miss him so much, but life does go on.  At least I know that he no longer feels pain and he is having a good time in heaven.  It has been a pretty good year, nothing bad has happened from that day til this.  My family is healthy, my niece got married, I just finished my first week of my "dream" job.  I finally feel like I am doing something worth while and I actually like what I do.  I have also started to change my lifestyle, meaning I am eating better and I have started to excercise regularly.  I joined the YMCA and I have met one of the trainers,  who is very interested in learning more about what I endured as a cancer survivor.  Also, the Y is just starting out a new program, "Live Strong @ YMCA" and Lance Armstrong is sponsoring it.  They have asked me to join a focus group to get the program started.  I feel like there are alot of good things going on right now, and I want to thank God because I know I am blessed.  I am also planning to walk in the "Miles for Moffitt" in May and I am collecting money for my Light the Night walk for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in November.  This will be my 2nd year for this walk.  My team is Val's Pals in Tampa on Nov 7th.  My team had 4 people in it and we had a great time last year.  I hope to have more team members and collect more money this year.  Feel free to help us out.

Just remember to pray, hope, and accept all things.

Love to all,

Valerie Gagnon
